In 2012, Ravi and Meena Verma made a decision that their neighbours thought was crazy — they converted their entire 12-acre farm near Bangalore to organic cultivation overnight. No chemicals, no pesticides, no shortcuts.
It was hard. The first two seasons were a struggle. But by year three, something magical happened: the soil came alive again, the produce tasted extraordinary, and people started driving from the city just to buy directly from their gate.
Today, Terroir Farms is a collective of 15 passionate farming families across 5 states, united by the same belief — that food grown with respect for the earth simply tastes better.
